Last week I stitched up a nice cellphone holder for my phone, seeing as how the ones they had at the store were both pricey and ugly. $20 for ugly black leather? Pretty black leather, sure. But not that tacky looking stuff.

It was so quick, only about three hours, and I’m all about a swift project. Makes me feel all accomplished. =D I made sure to leave a gap so that I can charge it while it’s encased and I made a nice strap so I can slide it over my shifter in the car or over my arm while wandering around.

I still have more of this skein left and I’m not sure what else to make with it. I love the coloring. So pretty! There isn’t enough for a scarf so I’ll either pick up some more or stripe it with some of my bright green yarn. I haven’t decided yet. I’m hooked on making wrist warmers at the moment anyway so I’m sure I won’t be making any scarves until September at the earliest. They take so long and when I finish them, I always want to wear them immediately. Can’t do that in this weather!
