an accomplishment in the making

More chalk

I just finished creating my first photobook on snapfish. It’s full of family pictures from April 2008 (when we bought our house) until January 2010 (ending on a marriage seemed appropriate). And seeing as how every good book needs a title, I call it “Putting Down Roots”. Funny thing is that it has 100 pages and will cost about $120 a book. I need four. Not counting if pesky relatives want copies, which I’m sure they will once they paw through one.

The reasoning behind having four is that when our little kidlets grow up and attempt to escape, I’m sure they’ll want pictures of this time frame. And instead of just pictures, they’ll get a yearbook full of scribbles and notes by family members. Way better than a scrapbook which could fall apart. This you can use to prop up a table with!

Well, I’m assuming you can anyway. I’ll have to wait until October to get them printed to find out. Just in time for Christmas!

I’m so glad that I’ve finally gotten it put together though. I’ve been meaning to make up one for ages. I’ve already come up with a title for the second one I’m making, On A Magic Carpet Ride.
