Today I’m going to learn how to change my wiper blades. I’m sure it’s brain blindingly simple, but I hate reading instructions so I’m going to be asking a coworker with some knowledge in that area. Besides, the little diagrams only show how to put the blade on, not take off the previous one.
In other news, my two classes are going really well. We haven’t really started anything for my audio production class but next week we’ll be doing music mixes in Audacity which is always fun. I have a feeling my Black Eyed Peas CD is going to live it up. Maybe I’ll even cut it with some Lady Gaga. We’ll see.
One class I’m pleasantly surprised by is my Advanced Image and Webpages class. I’ve already learned something I didn’t know how to do and was curious about! Make up a style sheet for printing out your webpages. It’s done the same as a regular style sheet and you just add a different attribute to the tag that links it in. Yay!
I’m kind of disappointed that we’ll be working all in Dreamweaver seeing as how every year or two they like to release a new version and then you have to figure out where everything went. Plus it likes to insert b/s coding that you have to clean out. Meh.
But! We’ll be working with Flash later which I’ve always wanted to learn how to use. And Spry, although I’ve never heard of anyone using it so I’m not sure what it’s for. Still, I’m glad that this class will be filling in more gaps in my self learned edumacation.
I’ve honestly learned more by subscribing to tripwire Magazine‘s feed a few weeks ago than I did from my last Image and Webpages class. Twas ridiculous.
